My fifth grade and middle school classes used the digital camera to help us create our comic strips.First, I took pictures of the fifth graders’ work to create a digital story, in order to model the concept for our middle school students.Next, I had a student in middle school take pictures of his classmates, as they were making their comic strips.Finally, another student created a digital story, using these pictures.
Reflection:
Having already been familiar with the digital camera, I was more amazed to use the digital storytelling software.Coming from a background in television production, I was very excited to see the possibilities.The editing of the pictures was quick, professional, and simple.The user-friendliness of the camera and the software has inspired me to use them with several of my classes.
